Well, I must have been posessed by Martha Stewart today or something. I mixed up 2 batches of sugar cookie dough and then baked the batch I mixed yesterday. I made frosting for them, but haven' t decorated yet. My kitchen is spotless too. The sink is clean and I don't even flylady. :p I made some spinach calzone type things for dinner. They were pretty tasty too.

Josh is fasting this week so he was kinda ticked that I did all this yummy cooking today and he couldn't eat it. I promised to do it again next week. :)

My midwife asked me to watch her boys this week on thursday when she was to take her daughter (who is pg) to get a test run in Winston Salem (an hour and 1/2 away). She said she had one other person she would ask first. Tonight she IM'ed me while I was putting the kids to bed and tells me that the person she left them with today didn't cope well and couldn't wait to get them out the door and home (there were 2 babysitters actually and both felt the same way). WHY THE HELL WOULD SHE TELL ME THIS KNOWING SHE WANTS ME TO WATCH HER BOYS????? I felt like I could do it before she told me that and that it would be from 9am to 3pm. That is a long time!!! I guess if I have to end up doing it, I will get my mom to come over and help me. There is no way I could manage without some help for that long! I like her, but I would never send my kids over there for her to watch. She is into Ezzo and Pearl parenting and that is SO not in my belief system. I love her otherwise, it just sucks that the only person I know IRL that lives alterna, believes that you have to hit your children to teach them respect...uh yeah, that makes sense...whatever! :(
