Its been a busy past couple of days. I've been offline for the most part. We had a nice day at my ILs on Christmas. J's aunt and uncle and their kids came too. Megan got blocks, dishes for her kitchen, clothes, a remote control car, 2 veggie tale videos, and some other small stuff. Dawson got clothes, a musical toy, and some other baby toys. I spent Wednesday at the stores (yes, I am crazy!). I had to exchange an outfit for Megan since overalls and potty learning don't mix and I had a couple of gift cards. Thursday I layed low for the most part and rested. Th night, my sister and her family arrived from MI. On Friday, we had a photo appt for all 4 grandkids at 11. Let me say that I HATE photography appts. They are so stressful and never go like you want them to. I really thoguth that Megan would be difficult and Dawson easy, but I had it backwards. I hope that at least something turned out well. The photographer was good which was a plus. After that we had lunch and then opened presents. My sister and I went to the mall (with Dawson of course) and I exchanged something that was too small and she bought out gymboree's clearance racks. :p Today we went to my Grandma's house for lunch and presents with her. Except for D crying a bit on the way up there, it was a good day.

Josh got not 1, but 2!! calls today from different dealerships wanting to talk to him about being the finance manager for their store. He is going first thing Monday morning back to Valley Chevrolet to talk to the new manager there. At lunch, he is going to meet with the manager of the cadilac place in Hickory. This early on in things, I can see positives and negatives to both situations. I'm keeping my mouth shut though! I told him to get all the information and then pray about it. I'm still hoping that he wants to go to school but I know he will go in the direction that God leads him. Every time it seems that God is telling us that he has spent enough time in this field, a door seems to open that J jumps toward. I always end up wondering if it was the right choice because this has been such a bad year for us. I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason though....good and bad.

Ok, enough resting! I dont' have time...Megan's 2nd birthday is next weekend and I haven't picked a cake, sent invitations, nothing!! ACK! I think it is gonna be a small family thing with 1 friend from chuch and his parents. The thought of anything more right now simply frightens me! LOL

By request, Pineapple Casserole:

2 c shredded cheddar
2 Large cans pinapple chunks, drained
1 cup sugar
6 T. flour
1 tube Ritz crakers, crushed
1 stick magarine melted

Mix cheese and pineapple. Mix flour and sugar together. Combine mixtures and spread in casserole dish. Sprinkle Ritz on top and then pour the margarine over top. Bake at 325 for 30-40 min.

It was a wonderful morning. Megan slept in which is TOTALLY unlike her. We had to wake her up at about 9:30 because we were too excited to wait for her to wake up. :) She loved her train table and train. It turned out wonderfully. She loved the art stuff I put together for her too. I found a childsize table and chairs at a yard sale this summer and I cleaned it up for her. She also got a dress-up, mix-up Larry the cucumber that has been fun. Josh got a wallet from me and I told him that I didn't want a present except for his promise to find a new less stressful job and to go back to school and have a new carreer by next Christmas. OH, my IL's put a gift bag on our front step this morning. A slide with a boy and girl on it and $30 gift card to Target for me and a gift certificate to the big and tall store for Josh. :) They weren't supposed to do that though!
