MUST BITE TOUNGE!!

So, I decided to go visit my neighbor this evening when I got home from spending the day at my IL's house. She just had her other shoulder transplanted and I haven't been to visit her yet. So, I'm there and her daughter is there with the pictures of their brand new grandchild and we got to talking about the baby and his birth. The baby's grandmother tells me that her DIL was in labor for 22 hours and the dr. said that if she has anymore children he is just going to schedule C/S's. I inquired why and she said the baby was just about too big to be born naturally and he doesn't think she can handle another natural birth because she is so tiny. So, I asked how much he weighed and expected to hear that he was like 9 or 10 lbs. Hold on to your seats people! 5 lbs and 11 ounces! WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? It couldn't be because he doesn't want to wait 22 hours again for a baby to be born. I wanted to scream that that dr was a moron and she should run away and hide from him but I couldn't say anything, had to bite my tounge and so I'm here now venting. She wouldn't have listened to anything I had to say, after all, I had my baby at home and he could have died obviously without the care of her gOBlyn. ACK! I want to puke! If I knew the mom, I would give her a few books to read and hope she learned enough to make a decision for herself without blindly following that stupid dr.

Anyway, the day was lovely here. It started gloomy and rainy and then warmed up and turned into a beautiful afternoon. Josh was off work again and helped his dad frame in the bathroom closet. I played with the kids and then after Dawson's nap, I went outside and planted some flower seeds for my MIL and then I felt froggy so I jumped on in to working on the flower beds around the house we will be living in. Noone has touched these beds for at least 3 years (probably more like 5) and they were in horrible shape. I started out by digging out all of the weeds and then I raked around and got out the glass shards and all the building trash thats been tossed out there. There was plenty of old junk in there as well. Tomorrow I will get a wheelbarrow and get all of the rocks out of there (as I am not really fond of rock gardens right in front of the house.)

Tomorrow is Josh's 26th birthday. We will have a steak dinner at my IL's house and I'm bringing a chocolate cake and ice cream. We are also celebrating my MIL's birthday and her first cousin's as well.

I'm styling my hair in a new way these days. I have it all flipped out on the ends like Paige Davis from "Trading Spaces." If I can find time I'll post a pic one of these days. My house is getting close to organized every day and I'm loving the power I feel from accomplishing that. :)

My little green house garden is taking off. I probably have 70 broccoli sprouts and my first tomato and sunflower sprouts came throught today. The pepper still haven't sprouted but they could be slow to germinate...not sure. Anyway, we haven't decided exactly what to do but i may end up planting them here at the house I'm in now instead of the house we are working on. We will be getting a tiller there, but not sure when so were in a time crunch I'm afraid. We will have to do something fairly soon. I'm excited anyway. I woke up thinking about needing a new freezer so I can freez things like tomatoes and broccoli. (I'm afaid of canning) Josh's buddy Joey has one to sell, but its 19 cubic feet and I'm pretty sure thats too big for the area I have. I am gonna talk to my paren'ts about working out a trade with them so they can have the bigger one.

I haven't had insurance since October when my pregnancy medicaid ran out. Josh worked for Randy Marion for almost 6 months and we should have had insurance after 90 days and for whatever reason we never got it. So now we qualify at Valley again and find out it has gone up almost 100 a month. A guy up there is on dialysis and everyone is paying the price. I laid in bed thinking about thiat last night and decided to look into private insurance. $400 a month for 3 people (J is free) who rarely go to the dr is ridiculous. I am going to get me and the kids a policy and then Josh's will be free at work and he will keep it. We will save over $100 that way!

My oldest dog Nanuk is dying I think. Hes getting close to the end anyway. I got to my parents house today and he came running up and I said Hi to him and he went to the end of the driveway. I didn't see what happened next but when I turned around he was laying at the end of the driveway on his back, he was shaking his legs and his mouth was open and his head was jerking. Is that what a siezure in a dog is like? He peed on himself and it took him a long time to get back up. I thought for a bit he was paralyzed and figured it was time to get him put to sleep. I was NOT composed at all. He followed me back to the house though when I went to decide who to call and what to do. I'm not sure what is happening to him, but hes 13 and I know that he doesn't have that many months left.:( Hes a sweet old dog. Everyone in the neighborhood where my parents live loves him and takes care of him. He has lots of friends :)

Well, I set up that chat and then crashed on the couch like a dork. I woke up after 10 when Dawson did and realized. Came back and Mina was here so I got to talk to her a little bit. My kids had gotten up at 6am that morning. Ah well. Maybe next weekend.

I have veggie sprouts!!! We had to transplant into bigger planters because my ground still isn't ready. Josh assures me it will be, but he can't yet because the plow isn't working. We have to either find someone to do it or fix the plow. I don't know what will be done yet since it is his Granny's plow. I have a little time though. I actually bought myself something on Saturday. A brand new pair of white keds! My keds are from high school if thats any indication of their condition. My other white tennies got worn out in pregnancy and my Nikes aren't plain white. New shoes just make me feel so good! Mom bought M a pair of sandals for the summer too. She wore them all day Sat. :)

I have been looking at daily planners and decided to just make my own. Its nothing fancy. I got a 3 ring binder and then set up my own sections. I am gonna print some things off the net and photo copy some other lists I have and just wing it. I'm excited. (pretty lame eh?)
