MUST BITE TOUNGE!!
So, I decided to go visit my neighbor this evening when I got home from spending the day at my IL's house. She just had her other shoulder transplanted and I haven't been to visit her yet. So, I'm there and her daughter is there with the pictures of their brand new grandchild and we got to talking about the baby and his birth. The baby's grandmother tells me that her DIL was in labor for 22 hours and the dr. said that if she has anymore children he is just going to schedule C/S's. I inquired why and she said the baby was just about too big to be born naturally and he doesn't think she can handle another natural birth because she is so tiny. So, I asked how much he weighed and expected to hear that he was like 9 or 10 lbs. Hold on to your seats people! 5 lbs and 11 ounces! WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? It couldn't be because he doesn't want to wait 22 hours again for a baby to be born. I wanted to scream that that dr was a moron and she should run away and hide from him but I couldn't say anything, had to bite my tounge and so I'm here now venting. She wouldn't have listened to anything I had to say, after all, I had my baby at home and he could have died obviously without the care of her gOBlyn. ACK! I want to puke! If I knew the mom, I would give her a few books to read and hope she learned enough to make a decision for herself without blindly following that stupid dr.
Anyway, the day was lovely here. It started gloomy and rainy and then warmed up and turned into a beautiful afternoon. Josh was off work again and helped his dad frame in the bathroom closet. I played with the kids and then after Dawson's nap, I went outside and planted some flower seeds for my MIL and then I felt froggy so I jumped on in to working on the flower beds around the house we will be living in. Noone has touched these beds for at least 3 years (probably more like 5) and they were in horrible shape. I started out by digging out all of the weeds and then I raked around and got out the glass shards and all the building trash thats been tossed out there. There was plenty of old junk in there as well. Tomorrow I will get a wheelbarrow and get all of the rocks out of there (as I am not really fond of rock gardens right in front of the house.)
Tomorrow is Josh's 26th birthday. We will have a steak dinner at my IL's house and I'm bringing a chocolate cake and ice cream. We are also celebrating my MIL's birthday and her first cousin's as well.
I'm styling my hair in a new way these days. I have it all flipped out on the ends like Paige Davis from "Trading Spaces." If I can find time I'll post a pic one of these days. My house is getting close to organized every day and I'm loving the power I feel from accomplishing that. :)
