Never mind about that job opportunity. Apparently they are sticking with the managers that they already have and the only thing they can offer is a sales job that might turn into a management job. :( I can't figure out why so many opportunities fall through for him. Everyone else we know have opportunities falling at their feet and they happen for them and poor Josh either doesn't get anything promising come his way or if we think it sounds good and he goes for it, it just leads no where. I hate feeling sorry for us and I'm tired of it but I need to vent I guess since it wouldn't be productive to vent at Josh. Poor thing tries as hard as he can. I feel sure he is in the right line of business for him right now. But, the economy has an enormous influence on how much business they do and this month has been really harsh. I hate to say this and would never repeat it to Josh, but I'm scared. Last month, they did a lot of business but despite selling more cars that the previous month, he made less money. We are getting by with the bills, but we are going to finally be moving soon and need new living room furniture because the stuff we have won't fit into the room. We also need to buy other things here and there for the house but the furniture is most important to me. Damn, I was hoping so bad they would ask him to be a manager. As much as I hated it the last time he was one, it wouldn't have to be forever and the salary would get us through this situation and help greatly. DAMN DAMN DAMN! I should be thankful he has a job, I know....sigh

In good news, Josh has lost 25 lbs so far. He has really lost a lot of inches, but because he is putting on muscle, the weight part doesn't matter that much because he is replacing the fat. I am so proud of him though. He is looking so much better and feeling so much better. He said last night that when he gets to his optimal shape and weight, he sees nutrition and weight loss counseling as something he would be interested in looking into doing for a living some day.

My best friend and I are going to get busy making things for some craft show booths this fall/winter. She is going to quilt pot holders and mitts and I am going to sew some childsize craft smocks and aprons. We also want to put together some cookie (dry ingrediant) jars and some bath salts and stuff. I have a few other ideas in my mind but am not sure if I'll have time for them. Things like little girl princess crowns and wands. We'll see how far we get with them. I'm excited about it.
ITS ABOUT FREAKING TIME!!! I didn't realize until now that I could go into my template and archives and save changes to fix this freaking problem. I was about ready to scrap my blog and start over!

Lots of activity this week...

My children are not allowed to be around my younger brother anymore. (see the relationship forum at yaaps for details as my time is short this morning.
We have sheet rock in our house! FINALLY!!!! Praise GOD! :D and yes, I will be leaving both kids for a few hours a day to start priming and painting my walls. FINALLY!!! They will be right next door playing with their Nana
Josh may have a job opportunity for the near future.
I think 2 of my tomato plants have a disease or something. The fruit all start cracking at the top as they ripen. I'm bummed. I think one of my squash plants has a problem too.
Megan has started saying she wants to ride her bike and then immediatly after sitting down and taking about 3 peddles, she stops and gets off with her head down and shoulders slumped. She won't tell us anything is wrong but she says all the time that she loves her bike. I wish I knew what was wrong. I hope she gets over this soon because she was so cute peddling her little bike down the driveway, in one garage door and out the other and back up the driveway again. She also still doesn't like church so I guess she will stay with my MIL again tomorrow morning. I'm going to leave Dawson with my MIL on wednesday night next week and try to take her to class and stay with her and see if she can warm back up to the idea.
I missed out on a really good "O" last night when Dawson decided he needed me. UGGGGHHHH!!! (TMI???) ROFL
Mimi got a new pool yesterday so thats where we will be if anyone needs me. ;-)

Tonight is our MOPS family picinic. I hope it isn't sweltering. Its good to be back.
